A fairly fun game despite a good bit of repetition.
Overall, there's certainly a lot of action in this game and though the story is fairly straightforward it's enough to keep you going. I did enjoy the range of enemies you had to fight along with the versatility of your weapons you could use. This made fighting a lot more enjoyable as you could certainly mix up your style quite a bit. As the game moves on you find yourself getting into a rhythm with both Nero and Dante which helps to settle you in to the game play.
The graphics are fairly pretty and I actually enjoyed going through some of the galleries after playing through the game to get closer looks at the designs of the enemies. The attention to detail on each was quite nice but you don't get to appreciate all of that as much while you're actually playing through the game.
The final boss was surprisingly easy and was another that you had to fight twice during the game though in final form he had some varied attacks. Honestly though, the variations didn't provide much and you can wind up beating him very, very quickly. The Savior was actually a particularly intriguing boss battle as it took a little more than just hacking and fighting your way through. Overall the bosses were pretty great despite having to fight them over and over.
