the game is cool, but it lacks the variety especially in the playing grounds and maps, and the devil arms(for nero only, but unfortunately we play like 75% of the game with no variety at all) ...as for "nero" bringing a new player in the scene in cool but taking the place of the original character(dante), not very cool... "nero" has his all new never seen before devil bringer witch is a good thing that brought a new style of kick ass gameplay(bravo for capcom :D) ...the story wasn't that much of a thrilling and excellent one but it was ok , still it is VERY mysterious, and had my head aching for weeks trying to figure out the secret behind it's endless mysterious questions,though it was a shame theories are made about it and questions collided in contradiction that leaded to storyline and senario failure ..anyway any fan of the series will love it, a new comer to hack n slash style will also adore it(very addictive) , but unfortunately it isn't the best in the series(in my opinion) simply because, compared to DMC3(spec. edition), it holds 2cnd place, well if people get to choose between the DMC3(SE) and the DMC4 i personally advise them to go with the third installment ,just because it holds an addictive story with addictive game play filled with continuously changing grounds an weapons and ideas by every single mission, im not going to review DMC3 now :P but you got the picture;)
