When I popped in Devil May Cry 2 after already playing Devil May Cry 1 and 3 I wasn't that disappointed. Though, I do agree that it's weird that Dante never really said anything much I didn't really care. I would rather have Dante not talk in the new DMC game rather than him being the usual douchebag teen you see in everyday high school life. Character is important in some games but sometimes there are hypocrites that go off saying "Story isn't everything in video games, gameplay makes it good" So then they sit there with other games complaining that the story wasn't good enough. That's how i felt with Devil May Cry 2. The gameplay was still pretty awesome and there is a lot of interesting looking bosses. I have yet to finish the game but i am on Mission 14 and I like the game so far. Endings don't tend to disappoint me if this game turns out to have a bad ending all I know is that they haven't really failed on me til the new DMC game came out.
