One of the best RPGs on the Xbox.
Plot:10/10
This game takes place 20 year after DX1.During the course of those twenty years,the whole world entered a period called the Collapse,where chaos was literally every war with constant Gang attacks,wars,robberies,famine,and every other else that happens in anarchy.Eventually order was restored and a world united by by various agencies came to be.In the role of Alex D.(a commando in training),you have just escaped from your home city Chicago which was destroyed by a terrorist attack.In Alex's new commando training school,suddenly terrorists attack again.As soon as you escape,an organiztion of religious followers called the Order begs for you to join them,warning you that the academies that have been training you have been using you as Guinie Pigs and that they will kill you now that you found that ourt.Along the way,WTO,a govermental agancy,will also try to convince Alex to join them.From this point on the player decides how the plot goes.Whatever decisions you choose,you will find this game has a compellingly complex plot with tons of twists and turns that you will never expect.The story is just as good as that of the first game.
Graphics:9/10
The graphics are beautiful with very nice lightling effects.They would have been completely flawless if the framerate in the game wasn;t so bad.
Sound:8/10
The soundeffects are up to today's standards.The musical score,while not matching that of the first game in quality,is great.The voice acting however is a huge letdown.The first game had some of the best voice acting seen in gaming,and this title's voice lacks any emotion and even sounds very rediculous.
Gameplay:9/10
Gameplay is open ended style RPG.The RPG system is different from most RPGs.Invisible War does away with all RPG conventions.There is no statistics,leveling up,grinding,experience gaining,and upgradable skills.Instead Invisible Wars uses these tools call biomods to subsitute as the upgrading system.Unlike experience,biomods cannot be earned by slaying enemies or completing missions.You have to find them throughout the game instead.With each biomod you find you have a large variety of very cool abilities that you can learn or upgrade using the biomod that includes Invisibility,Healing,Hacking,Super Strength,Night Vision and many more.
Deus Ex:Invisible War is an excellent game.
