Another Overlooked Jewel of the PSX

Psygnosis+Reflections=Awesome. I've been playing this since mid '97 and it's still got life in IT. It needs ALOT of work, even for it's time period, biggest issue being no rear view feature. it had the speed, and track design down. As the first one did, It trades up actual Destruction Derby Junkers for Nascar style Stock cars. Each car has a driver with a nick name, number and color scheme unique to them. I memorized them all as well as their AI personalities, and after awhile it felt like I was playing with friends. Learner driver's always lagging behind, secretly pretending to be a tardboy until a 1st place driver tries to pass, then he'll kamakaze knowing that wrecking points count for double if its the lead car. my favorite was Suiside Squad 82, she was an absolutly wreckless chaos driver, super speed get outta my way. A big problem was that I always wanted to actually use these cars, it was never an option. you get the amature, novice and pro cars. The pro car is the fastest and best, but has the least grip so it tends to drift, which once you get used to, you begin to prefer.
Funny that the commentator was'nt annoying to me, AH-ho-ho TOTAL DESTRUCTION! My favorite thing to do in this game is jam up the bottleneck in chalk canyon. If you get cars stuck sideways there, they will pile up, then if your still alive you can go around another lap, when you get to the jam, just ram it once and hold as you glitch through all the cars, you may be one of the only cars to finish. all in all, cheating with a gameshark actually made the game less fun for me, and Im a big gameshark guy. This ONE I actually rather play for real. Theres plenty I would add, but nothing I'ld remove and whats here has been fun for 10 years, thats an awesome feat, that very few games have achieved.
