A 2D platformer that is fun, simple and cute.

Well, I'm finally done with this game, and what a great two weeks that was.

DnS4's story is standard fare.Playing as Stafy, you're supposed to recover a nation's treasure that is being exploited for energy. He's not going alone though, Stappy and Kyorosuke will be there to back him up.

Anyone who's played a 2D platformer before should be instantly familiar with this game(regardless of the fact that it's in Japanese),with the usual run, jump and swim.A few levels require you to take control of Stappy(who has a few different moves)or use them both together.

The graphics are the highlight of DnS4.The backgrounds are beautifully rendered in 3D,and there were times when I got hit because I was admiring the backdrops. The characters are colorful and cute, and even the enemies are well-animated.

Unlockables are plentiful in this game, with over 100 costumes,a music box full of soundtracks and several picture cards. The game's quite short though, and when you beat the final boss, you'd find yourself wanting a little more challenge.

This game is designed to be in the same style as the Kirby series, and there's one thing this game is lacking from Kirby's---minigames.The only minigame here is the Love Fountain money-collecting game, which isn't much fun,and only barely makes use of the touch screen.

But hey, this is my first Stafy game,so i won't be overly-judgemental.All in all, this is a great game for newcomers, but veterans of the series will be slightly disappointed.
