if you love playing borderlands with buddies, you will love playing defiance with buddies. this game does nothing new, nothing mind-blowing, nothing surprising. it is a co-op, open world, loot grab for the ages. the similarities between this and borderlands are seriously too many to be merely coincidence. the third person aspect and slightly confusing menu systems are arguably the only features to remind you this is not borderlands. I honestly have no use for a storyline in a game such as this so I honestly couldn't tell you if it is any good. it is fun, not 10/10 fun, but you will love playing it with friends. there are plenty of side quests and world events that add enough character to make this world seem living. It really is quite a spectacle to see everyone hop in their vehicles and race across the crumbling landscape to the next random event, although after a while they do get repetitive. But alas, this is the nature of loot grabs. like borderlands. in short, if you love borderlands, you will love defiance.
