It's alright, but there's a few things I dislike

User Rating: 7.5 | Def Jam Vendetta GC
Def Jam: Vendetta doesn't have much of a storyline. Your character doesn't even talk. He just makes faces with an occasional grunt, something out of pain, yelling AH!, or a deep breath. There's characters talking to you constantly, but you never say a word.

It drops you into this world of underground fighting, which isn't really underground, because they have their own fighting rings. I mean come on, a ring in the middle of a junkyard, a building which looks like a church, and the place where you fight at in the end... how is that underground? There's hundreds of cheering people, large screens showing the fight, and an announcer. It's like a professional wrestling game, with rappers.

The reason my score for this game is in the good range is because the graphics are alright, the actual playing isn't that bad (there is some repetitiveness and after getting your stats up, it becomes really easy to win), and I like the soundtrack for this game.

All in all, it's an OK game, but I would like more from it. The sequel did a much better job. I'll be reviewing that game as well.
