-sigh-...where do I even begin with this?
My breakdown:
What's Good:
- What it could have potentially been
- A varity of cool looking enemies to fight
What's Not-So-Good: There's no in between here on this one.
What's Bad:
- The gameplay. The usual Eidos/Resident Evil style of movement and simplying using sword thrusts (and occasionally guns) to kill enemies.
- The graphics. Even if this was on PSX, it could have been a heck of a lot better especially given all the push backs of the release date!
- Boring. The infrequency of enemy encounters to the lack of music doesn't make the game very fun to play.
- Low replay value. If anyone managed to be patient enough to stick with this game until the end, why they would want to endure it again is beyond me.
In all, Eidos decieved me into thinking this was going to be a great game to play once it came out. It was everything but. Maybe this is why this the only title by this developer that own. Back then, I thought it was going to something like what we see now when playing God of War or Devil May Cry. Shame on you Eidos...Shame on you...
