One of the better game-playing experiences on the Wii. A must have for shooter fans.

Dead Space Extraction is an awesome game. The original Dead Space game was an instant classic that offered chills and excitement. It was also one of the scariest games I've played. This prequel may not be as scary since its an on-rails shooter but it still packs a punch. The original Dead Space was a mysterious game. The main character, Isaac Clarke, didn't speak a single word and we didn't know the entire story behind the necromorph monsters. Extraction is story heavy. There's plenty of dialogue throughout the game that explains more of this fascinating Dead Space universe. The characters are fun to hear and you really get to know them by the end of the game. Overall a great story with interesting characters drive this game.
The action in this game is top notch. The first 2 or 3(out of 10) levels don't have as much action as one would expect from a rail shooter. Thats what seperates this from other games of this type. You aren't just bombarded with enemies from the get go, but rather watch how the "disease" progresses. Dismembering aliens is extremely satisfying and each weapon is unique. There's about 2 or 3 boss fights and they are epic. Like I mentioned earlier this game only has 10 levels with each taking about 25-35 minutes to complete so its not that long of a game.
To sum it up this game is one of the best on the Wii. It's currently going for 30 dollars and that is a great bargain.
