A thrilling adventure for fans and newcomers alike
The visuals are great, and most of the game will keep you tense and vigilant on every corner. Sound effects are top notch too. This game is packed of epic moments like a good action movie and has fearsome parts like the best of horrors. It's Overall a game of the finest quality.
The good:
- No loading times at all
- Great visuals and sound. Lot of cinematic moments
- Great Variety of weapons, armors and skills
- Lots of suprises
- Good variety of enemies
The bad:
- Multiplayer is laggy and very, very few people still play
- You can't interact with the other survivors in any way, and you can't do nothing as you watch them struggle for their life while you could just shoot their aggressors
- You will scavenge for money at the first chapters, but you will ultimately be pretty rich by the end of the game which makes the last battle too easy since you can afford all of the best med packs
This is a truly great game, if you liked the first one then get it, if you are new to the series then get it too, the game makes a good (though not perfect) explanation of what happened on the first chapter, and you should have no trouble at all understanding.
So, if you like horror games, you'd like a space trip, or just try something new I highly recommend you getting into this great adventure.

Note on Difficulty:
My personal recommendation for players who ended the first dead space at least at hard difficulty is to play the game on Zealot (the highest available), so you can really achieve the best survival experience since the other modes are much more forgiving, but this may be a good thing too for players who don't feel quite like dying in gruesome ways, since the easy mode is very, very easy. If you plan on multiple playthrough though you can start at hard and then go into Zealot using the new game+ feature that let's you keep all your equip and gives you some cool armors too.
