If you want to know why people love zombie games so much , play this game!
Ever since i played GTA 4, i never liked any other 3rd person action/adventure game where your main character roams around the city and destroy things.
But when i played DEAD RISING 2, i really loved it. They did something really good with this game.
So basically you play as Chuck. A father whose wife was murdered by Zombies and now he's just left with a daughter to protect.
Unfortunately his daughter had been bitten on her hand by a zombie.
In order for her to survive, Chuck needs to go around the city looking for medicine to give to his daughter or else she will turn into a zombie.
But that's not all. The City in which Chuck is in now is infested with Zombies and someone framed Chuck for it.
Chuck has to go around the city looking for clues and solution to prove his innocence.
As you walk through the city, you meet up with zombies everywhere.
You have to pick up weapons and fight yourself through the city to reach your destination.
The good thing that I really loved about this game is with the weapons.
You can pick up anything that you see around and use it as a weapon to kill zombies. Even a water gun is used as a weapon.
Later on as you progress through the missions you get to upgrade your health.
The more zombies you kill, the more points you get to reach the next level.
When you reach the next level, you unlock combo cards.
The combo cards give you the ability to combine weapons e.g - BASEBALL BAT + NAILS =BASEBALL BAT + NAILS ON TOP.
The combined weapons makes it more fun to kill zombies with.
Overall, i really loved Dead Rising 2. Unlike LEFT 4 DEAD 2, Dead Rising 2 has a good story in it that will keep you going.
