Fun game, horrible frame issues.

User Rating: 7.5 | Dead Rising 2 PC
Dead rising 2 is a zombie apocalypse sandbox game where the main character has to use anything he must to survive. It very interesting in the terms on the silliness people can do with friends and that how fun it is to use almost anything as a weapon. Theres however performance issues that sometimes plague the game.

Dead Rising 2 controls are easy to get and players can opt for a xbox 360 wired controller or other gamepad for a better experience. You can not change the controls on the gamepad or controller however making it annoying for some players who want customization preference. The gameplay itself is pretty fun since there are many weapon and ways to kills the paper thin zombie crowd. Also you can coop with another friend making boss fights easier and to just mess around with more zombies. The problem is the time limit. If a you do not approach and finish a main mission in a certain amount of time, its automatic game over. I do not like games that rush me just to activate the next mission. I think many players will be turned off by this 1 thing.

The graphics on this game is pretty decent. Blood spills everywhere, limbs falling off, and the models themselves are detailed. The problem is theres some frames issues in game that gets really annoying. Basically sometimes the game just randomly gets choppy then smooth for sometime and then choppy again. Sometimes it happens during a cut scene, sometimes it happens when killing zombies or even when its an empty room. It just gets very annoying that players should rather opt for the console versions instead. The sounds in game are pretty decent with the the guts killing and glass breaking making it somewhat feel like a real apocalypse. The voice acting is pretty good too, sometimes giving it a serious tone to the game.

Overall this is a decent game however limited in terms of time. Its just that it gets very choppy from times so opt for a console version of this game rather than a pc version.
