Dead Rising 2 is a good game but for some reason it's not perfect. Let's talk about its good aspects first. There are main missions and side missions, we can choose whatever we like and skip those we do not interested about. But if we fail a main mission we will lose the chance to discover the truth but still we have a chance to finish the game in some other ways. We should add to this the open map we have to explore. It's a big shopping mall in Fortune city full of zombies. Each section of this mall offers different goods. We can change our cloths; color our hair, Eat drinks, and foods. But there is something very cool above all of this. There are almost limitless objects to use as a weapon, imagine so many things like cash register, dolls, guitars, swords, fire axes, and so many other objects at our disposal. Now there are many things to combine with them to create combo weapons that mean more powerful weapons. There are so many funny moments we chose innovative objects to use them as weapons. Imagine that you have a massager and use it against hordes of mindless zombies!! We can eat foods to gain health and read magazines to obtain more skills. There are so many things to do.
Now let's talk about some bad parts. Saving progress in this game could be pain in the ass. We can use rest rooms to save our game but not between our hide and sick or fights and hard times. If we got killed in the middle of something, we brought back into the early session of our last save game point. This is not good because in some cases we lost some good opportunities and advantages. Something else, some of bad ass fights in this game are a little hard to manage and sometimes that's because of shooting and aiming system.
But as a whole this game is an interesting experience and fun to try it. I give it 7 not 8 because of what I said about in above.
