It is a great game, but still has flaws
The survivor has improved a fair bit over those in Dead Rising 1.
The camera is more friendly now.
The theme improves beyond a mall and moves you into a city.
The weapons are fun to create (creativity of weapons is what makes the zombie killing SO much fun) and the storyline is great however the online CO-OP really needs a lot of polish. I was looking forward to playing Co-Op online and being able to jump into a game.
However here is what happens most of the time:
- Search for a game [1-2 minutes pass]
- Waiting for player to accept [30 seconds to a few minutes]
- Player has rejected your request
Really?! Why did Capcom even bother putting that in there given that 90% of the time everyone rejects the requests. They should have honestly left players offline automatically with the option to turn on Co-Op if they so wanted such.
However, minus the small hangups this is still an excellent game. And if you have friends who play it a fair bit, you'll probably fair a lot better at a Co-Op team up than pubbing it.
