It Isn't very suitable for newbies to DOA.

I'd say the designing, and graphics are done very well, but the costume range for each character isn't that big. since there isn't an easy mode, you need to probably be in sparring mode for a few hours... but then its gets, ok, but it might be a little easier if you played the demo. there are many unlock-ables, just about there to completely satisfy the gamer. but for other gamers, the graphics and "Soft Physics" may just be good enough to satisfy him. though most of it is hard, some characters are a little easy to beat on normal mode, for example, Eliot. Some characters are like fighting superior ninja's on Very Hard mode, and that is no doubt Alpha-152. with the ninja characteristics being fast than others, this might be suitable for button mashers. The throws in the game look great, but the reach is short. But yes, for beginners to DOA, this game is quite hard.
