If you have a PS2/PS3 and you like fighting games, DOA2 should be a title in your PS2 library

A few weeks ago, I ordered Dead or Alive 2 from the Amazon website. Having been satisfied by Dead or Alive: Dimensions for the 3DS, I decided to try another DOA game. I'm very impressed on how much content this title has to offer. The playable modes in this installemnt include a Story mode which takes place after DOA1 with the assaination of Fame Douglas, the leader of DOATEC, Survival mode; where you have to defeat waves of enemies before you run out of health, Tag Battle and even a new CG Gallery to view certain cutscenes. This version of the game packs a shit ton of content which has gotten me coming back for more sessions when I had time to spare.

The game also has a ton of stages, as they added 8 more stages to the PS2 release of DOA2. Also, there are 2 more characters added to the roster, both of them being unlockable characters. Like other fighting games, the game has an in-depth list of moves that can be used to get the upper hand of your foes. You can always go to the Training mode to practice combos and other moves if you want to. Most of the moves aren't that hard to master as well. It only takes a little practice and then you will instantly get the hang of this game.

My opinion on the game? I'm gonna say that DOA2 would definitely be one of my all time favourite fighting games! There is a lot of content to keep the player coming back for a long time and in terms of visuals, it looks great for a PS2 title. DOA has become one of my favourite fighting games of all time and games like Dead or Alive 2 are one of them! On the downside though, I found the game's VA quite bad, but that's is only a small nitpick from me. Other than that, DOA2 is one of my top 5 favourite fighter games of all time! If you are the owner of a PS2/PS3 and you want a great fighting game, then I highly recommend that you pick up Dead or Alive 2! You will not regret playing this amazing title.
