Worthy and scary adventure, set your brightness as low as you can

User Rating: 8 | Dead Island PC
As i know it's the very first open-world zombie rpg, and it's a damn good start, it has it's bad moments, but at all game is absolutely worth it.

Everything starts without rhyme or reason, you woke up in your hotel room and witness the zombie apocalypse outside. Damn, i really wish to try this by myself.

Game has it's gruesome melee combat, which is satysfying as hell, weapon customisation is an interesting variety to it, but gungame is really glitchy and dumb, AI of humans shooting is even dumber, zombies are OK. You have a solid world to explore, a lot of stuff to find, even use cars. The main story is kinda short, i think if i will try to beat it again with a different character... 10 hours will be enough, but u have a lot of side quests and a lot of stuff to unlock and find. RPG elements are minimum, but they def keep you playing further.

Graphics and visuals are solid, i did not see anything like this before, everything look gorgeous, only the same humans skins sucked.

Voice acting is not good, this is for sure, cutscenes made badly and uninteresting, so is almost the all story. Characters evoked mixed feelings, i finished the game with Sam B and i think he is an interesting person, can't say a word about the others.

Good:
Melee combat, atmospheric open world, weapon customisation, a lot of zombies.
Bad:
Story becomes ridiculous after a while, cutscenes, AI of humans and shooting mechanics.

At all Dead Island is a worthy game, i had a lot of fun playing it, i'm almost sure i will come back on Banoi again as a different person and will explore everything i missed.
