A very funny game that is also very fun to play. If you have a PSP or PSP GO you must get this epic game ASAP.
My favorite aspect of this game is that it is very funny, and it has a great story. I believe I have a sophisticated enough sense of humor and the dialog and jokes in this game made me laugh many, many times.
In case you aren't familiar with the concept of the game, Dead Head Fred is a noir film private investigator archetype and he gets murdered. A mad scientist brings him back to life without a head, and the ability to move, fight, have hilarious dialogue, seduce the ladies, and have his own will. He can also switch between different prosthetic heads that each has its own set of abilities. There is even one that allows him to walk amongst living civilians without scaring the crap out of everybody. The main objective of the game is to figure out who killed Fred and to take revenge. He would also like to recover his human head if at all possible.
I highly recommend this game to anybody looking to get a sweet game going on their PSP (or better yet PSP-GO, since your screen and sound are bigger and better.)
The only mistake I made in this game is that I did not take the time to learn the combat moves early on in the game. This cost me dearly once things got tougher further on ahead.
The structure of the game will seem familiar to those that have played games where you have many missions, or quests, to activate and complete. Completing the main quest line will complete the game, but you will want to complete most of the side quests, as these unlock power ups for your heads.
This will all make sense once you start the game.
I can't wait to see a sequel to this under-appreciated gem.
