User Rating: 10 | Daytona USA ARC
Ever since the initial release in arcades, Daytona USA has been released worldwide by SEGA and AM2 ever since the year of 1994, and this is the main heart of realistic stock-car racing that has been known by a few people as dead, but by many players as alive. Even if the force feedback motor is weak and noisy, especially if the speakers are not working, have blown up, or have been turned off, keep in mind that it can still throw people off if grip has been released from the wheel itself. The graphics may seem polygonal, and the music may seem MIDI-ish, but hey, it is just racing at the neatest! In fact, the music has been developed beautifully, and the graphic images have been wonderfully built, such as the paper-like (but realistic) trees and billboards, as well as the Artificial Intelligence code put into it. Did I mention that the game has realistic dents and gouges when put on V. R. 2 or V. R. 3? I probably didn't mention that. So, I basically tried various courses of the 3 courses, and I figured that it had the perfect difficulty in each course. Everything works, especially in the deluxe model of the game. You know, with the 50" projection monitor and all that stuff. So, if possible, find it on a local eBay auction and buy it at a cheap price at any time. Better if it is a deluxe version, but in any model, solo or linked, really neat. Bottom line: Considerable old-school gaming.
