Imagine Soul Reaver mixed with Zelda. that's pretty much what I got with Darksiders II. Its a great little progress action rpg. Controls are not the greatest, combat manoeuvres can be tough to pull of in fast paced fights but its nothing that will frustrate to unplayable. If you are using a keyboard though..just forget it, Its not fun. I fully endorse the 360 pad for windows for this game. I didn't complete the last Darksiders because I lost interest a few levels in. That was not the case with II, it gave me enough freedom and at the same time focus to push me to want to get the better items and gadgets. The plot is meh and its hard to believe that death gives a monkey about his brother war and what his real motivations for going on this epic quest are for; but none the less you will want to see it through. If you like a long game with plenty to do then I recommend it. If you want something groundbreaking then it wll disappoint but its classic inspirations aren't a reason to not play it. It's a lot of fun.
