Amazing sequel to a great game

Very much liked the first title of this game and the second is no exception for me.
If you tried the first game you'll be right at home continuing the story from the first game.

You play as Death which is very cool character, who is on his quest to save War, his brother.

The game builds itself around you and as you progress you can purchase skills and stuff that you can equip. You get to loot some crates and chests which add another element to the game and makes it more fun. You now can buy equipment and sell it. There is not much of variety to this but it okay though. You also can buy potions from merchants, which are limited and you will have to deal with it during long quests, sometimes you'll find more as some demons drop them when you kill the while you progress through the quest, the other time you'll have to manage with what you have.
No worries though, there are plenty of check points so not to keep you frustrated or replay the whole area again.

The game tries to get you the feeling of open world and does it quite good. There are some places you can visit and explore and you can always fast travel to those locations you've already found.

The quest are growing slowly at the difficulty level and at the size and length of the quests, encouraging you to try new skill and abilities as you progress. The quests are using variety of things and can be solved in many ways. From jumping and using your hand grip to cast portals on walls and replicating yourself to overcome an obstacle.

The game combines many ideas from many other games, like Portal for example, but it also does so exceptionally good. There are also boss fights, sometimes the fights are very interesting and very challenging and sometimes they are not, so you may feel a bit disappointed at the end of a quest.

The quests are combined from combat which is great with plenty of moves to perform, and you can always unlock more deadly attacks as you progress through the game, and amazing puzzles.

Puzzle solving alongside super fun combat system are the best recipe for a game.

The puzzles are none repetitive at most, unlike other games which just reuse the same system.

Here you have to look around and find the best way to deal with the particular puzzle. Exploring some ground may reveal a better path or a solution to some puzzle, forcing you to think before you jump into the unknown and try hard to solve something that can be done the other way more easily.

This aspect of the game is so cool and so interesting and solving the puzzles gives you so much fun.

The voice acting, the music and the story are great and well combined. You'll just want to help Death to save his brother and progress the story.

The bottom line:
This game is a lot of fun with great combat system and awesome puzzles which will keep you busy and considering the length of the game which is based on my experience and my friends (also at Fuse). The average time was more than 20 hours of gameplay and still many side quests left for us to complete.

So have fun with this great game !!!
