A very good game but...

... Only if you take your the time to tweak it. The first time we play, DS on PC is a complete mess: developed with the feet, unplayable with a keyboard and a mouse, ugly as hell, etc. It runs at 25-30 fps! What a shame. Hopefully, as I said, we can optimize the game: with DSFix (resolution, higher fps, skip intro, etc.), HD patch, and GameSave Manager.

Then, we can fully experienced the adventure. A deep rpg, not that hard but based on the "die and retry", attractive AND addictive.

The very first time, the experience can be a bit disappointing. In fact, we don't know where to go and what to do. But, whatever? Because after a few hours, the progress of the character will be the center of the gameplay. Sometimes it even pushes us to stay in the same area, doing the same things over and over again.

Oh, so much hours of frustration after losing all our souls, used as money and "xp" too. An excellent idea that forces us to be careful: will I upgrade my sword or should I better reinforce my health?

In conclusion, an excellent game, but a bad porting if we don't know the mods and the appropriate way to make it "playable".
