I started from the first game of the series and then went to this one. I am a little disappointed from the game but it is nice to play. Firstly, the thing that makes you want to play it more the build up system Dark Cloud has. It is very nice and addictive, it makes you want to build up every weapon you have, although it gets a little annoying when you can't build it up.
Secondly, the story was good, I liked it(There were of course some parts I didn't like in the story), but because of the bad translation of the voices it really disappointed.
Thirdly, the graphics...Although they were good for that time, I didn't like them that much. They made the game less serious in comparison to the first Dark cloud.
Last but not least, the game play and the experience from the game is really good, it has these mini games that you want to beat no matter what, like the Spheda and the Fish Contests.
Overall, the game is really nice, disappointing from an angle if you played the first one, and if you like Adventure games you should play it.
