A review from someone that knows about how music works, and plays dance games for fitness and fun.

I am guessing the reason that everyone gives this game such **** scores is because they don't know anything about music and wouldn't know what cds to use. If you do know something about music, or you know someone that knows something about music then it's a great game. I got this for christmas along with 3 home-made cds containing lots of songs that were made by someone that knows something about music. I tried out all 3 and they were great fun to dance to. There were a couple that just didn't seem to keep with the rhythm and they were easily removed and replaced with better songs.

Every day I spend an hour dancing to one of those cds, and am awaiting more to be made because the amount of music available to dance to is of course endless. I play on normal mode and find it slightly challenging and fun. I shall be moving up to the pro mode sometime soon, which I can tell is also going to be great fun and much more challenging after testing it out.

The endurance mode sure is tough. Dancing to an entire cd at once! Though you do get a chance to rest inbetween songs for a little. The fitness mode is simple and just tells you how many calories you burned during a song, which is exactly what I need. These are the only 2 modes that I use really, because I play dance games to work out to. This game is definitely recommended to fitness enthusiasts.

There are a lack of modes available compared to a regular ddr game, but it's not trying to be ddr so that's understandable - the main feature is that you can play your own music, not the number of modes.

The only complaint that I have is that there is no usb pen support. If it were able to take songs off a usb pen that that would have been great! No wasting cd-rs! A pity that isn't supported.

So this game is definitely fun to play and challenging. It's great!
