Finally, after four years, more amounts of GOOD AC DDR Originals made this mix better than expected!
Pros:
Graphics: the arrows look clean, as the background dancers groove in a realistic manner.
AC DDR Originals: 華爛漫-Flowers-, HONEY♂PUNCH, Morning Glory, Baby's Tears, My Only Shining Star, Star Gate Heaven, True Love, and Seduction (Vocal Remix) stand out the biggest among this AC mix's DDR Originals.
Licenses: Toxic, What a Wonderful World, Wookie Wookie, Golden Sky, and Centerfold are the most notable.
Cons:
Bemani crossovers: it should be noted that Konami adheres this cheapness chain:
butchered Bemani crossovers > licenses > AC DDR Originals
I know it seems oxymoronic, but it's true.
Overall: Even though Konami's a big cheap-ass on the AC DDR Originals in this mix, I'll still give this a 9.5, primarily due to the surprising return of jun to her Bemani roots (she *did* start her Bemani career in DDR, back in MAX2 AC), the inclusion of nc, and of course, the long-awaited return of U1to AC DDR, and the overdue AC DDR debut of Sota Fujimori. In addition, DDR stalwarts Naoki Maeda and BeForU solidify their presence in the franchise's history further by appearing in this mix.
