Great song line up

I've played Dance Dance Revolution at friend's houses in the past and enjoyed it. This was the first installment that I actually put money on. It has the best song line up of any Dance Dance Revolution I've played, with a few flaws.

The Britney and Beyonce songs are irrtatingly slow and long. Every time they would pop up on shuffle I would groan and just go back to the menu. The other problem I had was the songs seemed to have only two modes. Slow to the point of boring and mind bogglingly fast. So I would go from taking one step every two seconds to frantically trying to keep up. There seemed to be no middle ground.

I also didn't like then dance master mode. I got through the beginner and light modes just fine, but when I tried standard the transition in difficulty was so abrupt I had to stop playing.

I'm not as enthusiastic about DDR as others, but I think this is a solid installment, even if it does mostly cater to veterans.
