Cyberpunk 2077 - meh

User Rating: 3 | Cyberpunk 2077 PC

Some feedback after playing 22 hours (the negatives of course - the rest is fine):

- the colors are horrible - makes me tired when I play. I guess it's a RGB themed game-idea or something!? I don't know...

- your character gets stuck on every corner or thing that he touches. This gives a weird experience when you are in combat, but not only. I play a lot of COD and coming to this game the combat experience feels very sluggish.

- a lot of errors and bugs. Maybe they will fix it in time...

- drive experience is pretty bad. When you need to drive 2 km it takes forever. 100m go by unrealistically slow.

- the motorcycle doesn’t even turn as it should. You hit walls and things a lot when you try to turn. Weird.

- numbers jump out of the head of enemies when you shoot them - who the hell thought that's a good idea???

- you start a job (quest) and you get a call. This happens a lot especially at the beginning of the game when you area anyway confused by all the info you need to process. So you have to stop and listen - basically finish the call and then continue your quest. Even if you are under attack you do not have the option to not answer the call. Sorry but this is stupid.

- sometimes you get a call - which you have to answer - while you are in another dialogue and both dialogues are running in parallel.

- I play on a 2080 Ti and I get around 110-120 fps on 1440p normally. But in some areas the fps drop to 55-60. Even with low crowd density setting it still drops to around 70 fps. This just gives a bad game experience overall. I don’t know why they didn’t use Vulkan instead of D3D.

- The language used is pretty weird and "slangish". The game wants to be state of the art and cool - I get it - but when I play I want to relax and have a good time not to concentrate on "what the hell did they mean by that?" Maybe it's just me but a lot of the dialogue is hard to understand.

- When an enemy sees you, your vision/ field of view gets greenish and blurry - and you get a sound. This effect is exaggerated. It is overkill and annoying. You can barely see anything when this happens and the game is pretty dark most of the time anyway.
