Flat world filled with bugs

User Rating: 6 | Cyberpunk 2077 XONE

Clearly when this game was advertised it was done on a high end PC. On the Xbox the world graphics are kind of flat and stagnant. There are people in the world but most are just standing around in alleyways or you will occasionally get a single person walking down the street with their head down. Some of the menus and buttons are not consistent or intuitive. For example, when buying/selling items from your inventory you press A to buy/sell, unless there is a stack of more than 1, then you have to scroll over ONE CLICK AT A TIME to the number you want to buy/sell (especially terrible when you want to buy say 200 ammo, which isn't really intuitive where the gun shop keeps their stock either) and then press X to buy/sell. Bugs are plentiful in this game. Between clothing items disappearing or becoming unequipped at random (nothing better than finding out you "took off" you chest armor right before you entered combat), dead enemies suddenly respawning (especially terrible when you are trying to stealth, shoot out a camera only to have it respawn 30 seconds later), and random stuff just appearing in random places at random times this game can get frustrating. Also don't expect combat to be even a little realistic. When you run up to an enemy, put 30 rounds from an assault rifle into his face, only to have them pull a Mentos out of their pocket and heal themselves completely while you are reloading makes for a bad time. Getting hacked constantly while in combat (even when you are in 100% cover with no security cameras around) makes this a controller throwing, rage-quitting, frustrating endeavor. Add an over-the-top, trying-too-hard-to-be-a-tough-guy sidekick that really doesn't add anything meaningful (and who constantly steps in front of you when you are shooting) through the whole thing and I kind of wish I would have spent my 60 bucks more wisely.
