A survival horror game.. supposed to be, this game is not bad but not good at all.
Cursed mountain is a third person survival horror game released in late 2009 for the wii and 2010 for PC.
the game takes the role of eric simmons climbing the himilayan mountain chomolonzo to find his lost brother frank simmons.
so the game is about eric climbing mountains and fighting ghosts..
eric fights ghosts using an ice axe, by making progress in the game Eric finds upgrades for it.
So i bought the game when i thought the story was good,but it turned out that it wasnt well made.
the game didnt have any female characters except for one but she was already dead.
and the bad thing that is you keep walking in the game which makes you really bored.
the combat wasnt bad but it was boring,which makes the game more boring.
the game starts as Frank simmons following his partner Paul Ward, then they get into a fight which leaves frank climbing by himself, then ghosts start approaching to him.
you play as frank's brother eric in a deserted city called lhando,after that eric starts seeing ghosts
walking around
then a ghost starts attaking eric but an old man saves him and gives him the ability to fight ghosts
which is the third eye
the whole game is about climbing the mountains and getting higher.
Difficulty:
The controls are pretty simple,
you use space to investigate and right mouse to aim and left mouse to shoot
and there are some moments where you need to shake the mouse to get out of trouble.
but the pc version has some bugs with the mouse shaking.
the game doesnt have dificulity choices,it was like normal mode,which was not too hard but not too easy.
Graphics:
The Graphics are like a 2005 game which is really bad, the game didnt have moving cutscenes
it was like a slideshow or more like moving pictures,
which makes the game a boring one
the character design was good in some ways
the ghost designs were well made but not scary nor creepy.
there are some really well made places in the game and some great designs,so there are
some nice Landscapes that you might enjoy
Sounds:
The music in the main menu was good for a horror game
the sounds of the footsteps was well made, and the sounds of objects too.
the game had music in the fights only,but it wasnt bad it was like drums and stuff
the ghost noises wasnt bad,but sorta annoying.
the characters voices where pretty good but bad for a horror game,specially eric's accent wasnt clear enough.
the sounds of the winds was awesomely made,which gave the sounds of the game a thumbs up.
Will The Game Get You Exited To Keep Playing:
no the game will defenetly not get you exited and will get you bored.
it doesnt have any exitment,no characters,not even cool boss fights.
it took me a whole year to complete the game,it wasnt hard but it was really boring.
i didnt even wanna complete it but i did that because i wanted to see whats gonna happen to frank
Ending:
The ending wasn't bad it was expected,but the way the cutscenes are made,made it look bad
when the game ends you feel releaved because you wont play it again
and that feels good,trust me it does.
Time Rating:
Takes about 5 to 8 hours.

Its not worth the money,if there is a better game that needs to be bought go for it and don't buy cursed mountain
but of course its our opinion,some people might like it
