The reason why i'm not a big fan of the MW or the battlefield franchises (although i have to admit they're really good looking and solid games), is that they SEEM to put you in charge of the situation, to give tons of different options on how to go on. But in the end, that's a lie. You can decide which gun you want to use, but still, it's always duck, come out, shoot someone, duck again, shoot, run, duck, shoot, and so on.
Crysis is the opposite thing. You have lots of enemies to kill, and lots of ways to do that. Want to go stealth? You can. Want to choke Korean soldiers and toss them into the ocean? You can. Want to move so fast that they'll be dead without even knowing what happened? You can. Want to pick up crabs and chickens and throw them for no particular reason? You can.
Besides this really awesome variety of options, you'll enjoy incredible graphics, and an interesting story with plenty of surprises.
Summary: a fresh FPS, unique in his genre, that everyone should play.
