Crysis 3 delivers a visual feast; it's just, too bad, that the game doesn't deliver at all.

Crysis 3 is poor; very, very poor. In fact, I'm quite disappointed with Crysis 3.

Let's just say it was an absolute chore to complete this game on the easiest difficulty. I'm going to be, brutally, honest this game is a snore-fest. What is different from Crysis 2 to Crysis 3? Honestly; some new weaponry, some new environments, some new graphics, but the bad part is that the game-play is as stale as ever. It doesn't feel satisfying slaughtering C.E.L.L operatives and Ceph anymore; in fact, it feels old.

The plot in this game is cringe-inducing awful. Crysis 2 took a more serious approach to the storyline; Crysis 3, however, becomes an apocalyptic love-story that isn't even that good. The characters were unlikable, the story was stale and predictable, and it wasn't even balanced at times. Placement of events seemed off. Don't expect much, if anything, from the story; trust me, it doesn't deliver.

I don't hate the Crysis series. I'm just, incredibly, disappointed with Crysis 3. There, really, isn't any innovation within this one to enjoy it as much as the previous games. In fact, I'd go out on a limb and recommend purchasing the first Crysis on the Xbox 360; it's only fifteen dollars and worth every dollar. Plus, you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars trying to maximize settings for it to run well on a PC.

Again, I don't hate PC's - I just don't make a lot of money to keep up with computer technology.

If you're willing to pour extra time into the game - you can obtain collectibles that aren't worth anything in the campaign. After collecting them all, I wasn't interested in any of them - In fact, it made me realize how much time I wasted completing this crap.

The difficulty balance in this game needs to, seriously, be adjusted. I was playing on the easy difficulty; you don't even feel like a super-soldier on that difficulty, you feel like you're a regular soldier straight out of a Call of Duty or Battlefield game. The artificial intelligence is overpowered. They can kill you five-hundred meters away - it happened to me and it was complete bullshit. They, also, have the grenade-baseball training from Call of Duty: World at War where they constantly spam grenades right at the edges of your toes. Stealth? Oh, don't even think about stealth - they hear everything; even if you were walking like molasses they could still hear your feet moving and then you'd have another firefight you could have easily avoided.

This game feels like it missed out on all its opportunities.

Two things that I enjoyed in the game: the graphics and blowing up a dam. Visually, Crysis 3 is absolutely gorgeous - nothing can top graphics like these. Wait until you check out the grass; it's incredible. The environments look good where-ever you go. That is until you reach the final level where there will be the occasional stutter in performance. Also, there is a level in the game where you can blow up a damn; as boring as it sounds, it's actually quite fun to complete - and it wasn't snore-inducing predictable. Go here, kill this, go here, kill that.

Overall, Crysis 3 delivers a visual feast; it's just, too bad, that the game doesn't deliver at all.
