Crysis 3: Review

User Rating: 7.5 | Crysis 3 X360
After the first two installments I have been wondering where the Crysis series may end up, especially with the events of the second game. Though the story is mostly convoluted at times and it may make you want to roll your eyes at certain parts, there still is a bit of fun to be had. Prophet returns to take out the ceph and cell enemies.
A couple big downfalls to this game are its story length and enemy A.I. Its also quite easy especially with the new bow and arrow which can take down your enemies in one shot. Its so easy on the hardest difficulty that a caveman can do it (no seriously its that easy). Also the final boss fight isn't that challenging or satisfying. But there is a bright side to the story, its the likable characters and their interactions with you.
Along with the campaign is the multiplayer, because every first person shooter needs multiplayer. Its mostly the same as the second game with a few tweaks, but on the whole its largely lackluster and won't make you come back to play it.
Crysis 3 isn't a terrible game, it just doesn't live up to the standards of its predecessors.
