Major Disappointment
I'm the first to admit that this style of game is known form simplified controls, and I enjoy button mashers. However, its really hard to button mash with the trigger buttons which the developers thought were a good idea. The controls in this game are as confusing as they are unresponsive.
The graphics are not bad, but the gameplay sure is. I can always accept an animated death at the hands of a difficult boss or tricky level, but I can not tolerate when my poor character gets themselves dismembered because of poor camera angles or controls.
Do not rent or buy this game. Just watch the movie, which was great. Whether you get the DVD or the PS2 game, you will have an equal amount of control over what the characters on the screen are doing.
