The strangest (and funnest) experience I've had playing an FF game.

First off, I loved the game. It's the only game I've boughten that I've finished without really taking a break, well other than to eat, sleep and shower. The hack and slash, button mashing gameplay is really fun. I thought I'd get bored of it, but I never did.

The reason why it was a strange experience to play Crisis Core (*Spoilers*, if you're the one gamer left on the planet that doesn't know what happen in vii) is that during my 20 hours of gameplay, I often found myself liking Sephiroth. It's really confusing playing a game where you know the main character is going to die, and that his girl is going to die as well. I seriously had to take a moment before going into the final boss fight, because I wasn't sure if I wanted it to end. It sounds weird, but I got to like Zack so much.

Ok, so aside from that, the graphics are GORGEOUS! Being a new psp owner, I didn't know that a handheld could produce graphics like that (only owning a ds previously). The story was amazing and powerful, on par with other great FFs like the original vii, viii and x. Another nice aspect to cc, is that when you want to level up, or are stuck at a boss, you don't just have to fight tons of boring enemies. You can do any number of the games 300 sidequests. The DMW is fun, and unlike any other game.

The only complaints I have for this game are that it is kinda short, 20 hours isn't much for a FF and you can't fast forward through cutscenes. I watched one cutscene like 5 times because I kept dieing at a boss fight. These are minor issues, and don't stop the games perfection.

And yes, I did cry at the end.
