With superb graphics, solid gameplay and an enjoyable storyline, Crisis Core is one of those games no one can miss.
The cinematic scenes shown in this game are strikingly beautiful. Like if you were actually seeing a movie rather than playing a game. You will play as the ill-fated hero Zack Fair, who goes on a mission to search for the missing 1st class SOLDIER, Genesis. You will meet memorable characters such as Sephiroth and Cloud Strife. So nostalgia will come to you if you played Final Fantasy VII back in the old days.
In-Game graphics are solid and clear, but there may be times in which you can encounter minor glitches. Luckily, this might only happen once or twice throughout the whole game.
If you've never played Final Fantasy VII, don't worry. Since this is the prequel, you don't need to feel anxious because it is continuing from a previous game. You will see how it all started and how it starts the beginning of Final Fantasy VII.
Gameplay is one of the best any PSP game could offer. Unlike the traditional RPG style, you are free to move and command attacks as you desire. But be warned, this game requires strategy when fighting bosses because they are TOUGH. You WILL die, that's for sure, but in order to keep it minimal, one tip: Level up by completing every mission you can unlock. This way, instead of leveling up to 25 while fighting monsters during the story, you could be up to 40 by completing missions and it may be easier for you to defeat the villains.
Anyway, the gameplay isn't difficult to master, it will be quite easy and fast to get used to when playing for the first time.
DMW is a random but very useful way to level up when needed and releases special attacks when fighting an enemy, no matter a monster or a villain. You'll see what I mean when you start playing.
In the end, Crisis Core is a game that every PSP gamer should buy and play, because I assure you, I'm almost positive that you'll love this game than hate it.
