Playing the game feels like leaving through a story

I'm a huge Sherlock Holmes buff and not a big fan of the point-and-click RPG's. And when I say "not a big fan", I don't play them at all. This game stays so close and true to the character of the Conan Doyle's Sherlock. Playing it feels like living through a story. Characters are very believable, voice acting is at the top. Sherlock is his arrogant genius self whereas Whatson is somewhat bubbly but loyal friend and partner. Some stories (but not all) are actually based on the Doyle's novels. Playing through those feels like cheating since you have to make deduction choices throughout a story that leads you to the right (or not) conclusion and I know exactly how they will end. Nonetheless, this doesn't take away a bit from enjoyment and satisfaction of finding the right clues and making right connections is very satisfactory.
