Give this game an honest chance. It takes time to progress in this game but it's worth it in the long run!

Game is definitely underrated. It takes time to progress in this game with a character.

There are several reasons that make this fps mmo game worth putting the time into. You have crafting that keeps the game interesting and investing your time into playing. Only two I tried so far are Tailor and Engineer. You also have Gunsmith and Chemist crafts.

I prefer the PVE games like Safeguard and StockPile. I played PVP several times but don't recommend you do that until you reach about 20. When you hit 30 it gets easier but still challenging. The PVP definitely gets frustrating to play sometimes. With enough practice I can see how people can be at an advantage with certain weapons in matches. It can feel cheap getting shot one time and die instantly with a sniper rifle. One shot to the head, doesn't necessarily mean you're instantly dead still. Which makes it unrealistic getting shot in the head and still alive.

There are a few issues of realism in this game but overall it's fun and worth the time spent investing in. Adding attachments to guns and the variety of weapons make it fun.

There are no vehicles to drive. There's a whole story of why no one uses vehicles in this world, but most people won't notice or pay attention to that.

All matches PVE and PVP are instanced.

You explore giant city streets with shops to go in, boost vendors on the street, premium boost vendor and a premium shop guy to see. Who is usually standing by a wall. There you can change color of your gun, change hair style and color, clothes colors, and buy premium clothing as well. You can also change your face type. I personally would of liked to see a deeper customization of character creating. I would of fine tuned the face with sizes of head, nose, chin, ears, eyes, mouth and eyebrows, but that's me personally.

I think they should of put more realism with the facial features. Your man or woman NEVER blinks! The physics were nice though. You can get shot and slide down stairs, bounce against a wall, across steel bearings or fall all over the ground. There is some blood as well, but they could of used more realism there too. Getting shot by a grenade launcher, rocket launcher, blown up by a grenade, blown up from mine, or timed bomb should of been a lot more graphic. It especially should of been more graphic considering this is rated M. I wanted to see body parts flying, entrails laying all over, and what you would expect to happen when someone gets blown apart!

With all due respect, the developers could of waited about 6 months more to tweak the game before it hit. Then GameSpot would of gave this game at least a 7.5 I believe. You simply can't review an mmo game of any type right from the start of it's inception. It's simply not fair. Games like this need a lot more time to grow, both in content and users. That being said, GameSpot should re-review this game in one full year after the Beta was released. They wouldn't slap it with a 6 again, I assure you. As far as this game goes and other more recent mmo games that are out. It fares okay. It's not an mmorpg, it's a fpsmmo game with rpg elements and times where you need to use a strategy before going into PVP and PVE matches.

Forgot to mention you have different skills you can use and gain SP as you level. Experimenting with which skills work more in favor of your playing is entirely up to you. You can reset the skills too for a price.

There are places to auction off your mats, weapons and clothes and other stuff called the Pawn Broker. This is one of my favorite places and between Pawn Broker, Crafting, PVE and PVP instances as well as Gang Houses, you have a deep game that definitely will stand the test of time. I never managed my own gang but may consider it one of these days. It looks like fun designing the interior, putting up production, updating the look, having a Gang Storage. It just works.

You also have Missions and Jobs to do which you take from phones around the city. This gets you more XP and money when complete. There's plenty to do here.

Just be careful of some of the people online. Not everyone is nice, intelligent and look out for each other. There is a lot of flaming here and there. Once you look past the mentality of some of it's users you have a fun game. You have blacklist function so it's best to use when someone gets extremely annoying. Always give them a chance first to see if they can turn around and act more civilized. But hmm....there isn't anything civilized about gang warfare.

I recommend you give this game a shot if you never tried. Definitely get the Best Buy version since you get 3 months of free premium to see if you like it. It's a good deal and I personally hate Best Buy otherwise. Have fun and frag on!
