A fun cricket game, nothing more. The Ashes theme is a great addition, as is the Ashes theme music. Very similar to past titles Ricky Ponting Cricket 2005 and 2007, it has enough going for it to warrant a new purchase.
Gameplay - 7, solid, but a few less strokes than the 07 version.
Visuals - 7, no improvement really.
Music - 8, Ashes theme music is a welcome addition compared to the generic rock of most sports titles.
Controls - 6, not as good as the 07 version in my opinion. Less range.
Multiplayer - 8, still fun to play with others.
Originality - 5, still basically an updated version of past titles.
Fun - 7, another fun, solid cricket game.
Overall - 6.9
