Good addition to the EA cricket series

User Rating: 8.4 | Cricket 2005 PC
Ok so EA released another Cricket, this times its 2005. Have you played 2004? Well then you won’t see a big difference from that version. Game play has gotten a little improvement but sometimes the bugs are obvious. Mainly it’s the players acting weird. The game play is sure to bring you to the realistic cricket field. You have hundreds of way to score runs and it won’t bore you with repetitive game play. Bowling has improved from the last year’s game, just by pressing the keys like W, S, D, A, Alt and so on, you can bowl out swings, in swings, Yorkers and many more depending on the bowler’s talent, new addition is the Doosra now I hope murali saw this (greatest Spinner). Graphic has gotten about 60% improvement from the last years game, players faces are better than the last one. Expressions like disappointment and enjoyments are clearly expressed. If you are playing this game with a Geforce 3 and above you will see a great improvement in graphics. Don’t be scared to max out the settings. Commentary in the game is the same other than occasional description of why players wear colored outfits in one-days and why they can’t give lbw just like TV umpires give run outs. When I played the game I turned off the commentary feature. Crowd reactions are great it’s different from country to country. The game comes with a very boring sound track, but two songs managed to stand out other than that it’s a boring selection. The only way you can play this game with another friend is if you have another game pad, but no online multiplayer. Overall this game has managed to bring the true nature of the game, with a patch and some bugs be gone this is the game to beat in the cricket series.
