A Fun pick up and play that you will drop quickly.

Crazy Taxi on the PlayStation 2 is a port of the popular arcade game by Sega that was then ported on the Sega Dreamcast and then to various consoles when the Dreamcast passed on.

Gameplay
The gameplay is pretty simple. You are a cab driver who has a time limit to get as much fare money as possible. So you pick up city folk to get them to there destination at times that are ridiculously short so you need to get them to there destination by any means necessary, even that means driving on the sidewalk, using fruit carts as ramps to get on top buildings to get there faster. Your passenger also pays you more the crazier you drive, as long as you don't crash into things( your cab shows no damage ). It is really fun but it gets repetitive, especially when you pick up a passenger that wants you to drop him to a place you just went too to passenger rides ago and you keep going around in circles.
There is no plot or goal other than to reach the best score so you will drop after an hour or two, but you will come back when you just want to have some quick fast and reckless fun. The game also has a couple mini games that will only keep your attention for a few minutes.

Graphics
The game has great graphics for the time it was made, it has great scenery and environments. The game is filled with in game advertisement every single drop off location is a in game advertisement, you will be going to "incredible" locations such as KFC, Pizza Hut, and Tower Records( HA HA Illegal Downloading Made You go Out Of Business XD ). It does give the game a bit of realism, well as much realism this game can have.

Sound
The soundtrack in the game I think is incredible. It has great rock pumping tunes that just enhance the experience so much. Although its not everybody's cup of tea the soundtrack includes Bad Religion and The Offspring.

To summarize the game is ridiculously fun but it gets boring extremely fast but it's worth a buy for any gamers collection. If you can snag a cheap copy for your PS2,Gamecube,or Dreamcast id say buy it!
