Old-Fashioned Stupid Awesome Fun

User Rating: 7 | Crazy Taxi PC
I played this game a few years ago, and I loved it. It has a few problems, and the two modes get old, but it is a proven way to procrastinate anything at hand. Thankfully, it has two entire cities that are completely unique. It has a few things in each city that feel like real life cities. For example, it has a cable car hill in one that's like San Fransisco, and another city has a skyscraper that looks like New York.

Anyway, the driving is arcade through and through. It is one of the most unbelievably action-packed driving games with huge jumps, drifts, and powerslides into the designated areas.

It also has some "Crazy Challenges" or something like that, but they become too difficult for a keyboard once you reach the harder ones.

Bottom Line: It's pretty dang fun! You might as well get it for the Dreamcast or one of the (almost exactly the same) sequels (It even has the same cities!) for the original XBox, but if you only have a PC, its hard to go wrong with a game that only costs 5 bucks and that you can pick up from the bargain bin at Wal-Mart.
