Crash of the Titans is enjoyable, but there is too much combat and it generally just doesn't feel like a Crash game.

Crash of the Titans is once again made by different people. This time it's Radical Entertainment making the next part of the classic Crash Bandicoot series. After the superb Crash Twinsanity, I waited for something really special, but Traveller's Tales changed to Radical, developer changed to sierra and music maker changed from Spiralmouth to some generic beats. The graphics look nice and there's nothing to nag about here. The controls are easy and the main platforming is really enjoyable. It's a real shame that now Crash can punch which has been made into main role. There is way too much combat which makes Crash of the Titans feel more like a generic action game than a real Crash Bandicoot. You could easily replace Crash with some other character. The musics are, as mentioned, meaningless and sure as hell not too memorable. The sound effects are decent and the voice acting is done well, not as great as in Twinsanity, but still good. The changes in characters may really shock same of the long time fans of the series: Aku Aku's mask now looks like an ape and has beard and lots of extra feathers, Uka Uka's mask is a brown skull that has extra bones hanging it, Crash has tattoos (!), Coco is a teen ager that looks exactly like Crash but is female, Tiny Tiger looks like a real normal tiger, N. Gin's skin color is blue, wumpas are changed to mojos, Crash lives on a whole different island and the main focus in the game is hi jacking titans. I hated about all these changes. This game didn't ruin Crash, but it did disappoint me after the high hopes that Twinsanity left. Still, enjoyable platform game, decent at best Crash Bandicoot game.

+ Pros: Nice graphics, enjoyable platforming, voice acting is done well
- Cons: Too much combat, pretty short, doesn't feel like a Crash game with all RADICAL (no pun intented) changes
