Crash Nitro Kart is the semi-sequel to Crash Team Racing. It seems as though they put the same level of innovation in this game as they did for The Wrath of Cortex. This game has added more variety in the course design, and some of the cutscenes are kind of funny. But the racing is exactly the same as in the original. And they did make the graphics a whole lot better than in the original. However, you still rely on the exact same mechanics as in the original. The only thing that is new is the arena editor, which allows you to place hazards in the game's battle arenas. They also balanced out the characters more, so that it is much more possible to win with any certain character. But other than that, this is pretty much the same as the original. Hardcore Crash fans probably already own this game, but if you haven't played the original, this is a solid kart racer.
