I really didn't know what this game was prior to buying it. I guess I was so impressed with Crash Team Racing and Crash Bandicoot 3 that I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next Crash game to be released. Crash Bash is basically like one of those Mario Party games which I really don't care for. Its a collection of mini games in which you can compete against the computer or friends. For some odd reason some of the villians are now on the heroes side and vise versa...and Dingodile has this obnioxously goofy laugh when he wins. Needless to say, I did not enjoy this game as much as the prior two releases in the Crash Bandicoot series.
My Breakdown:
What's Good:
- Familiar faces in a different setting
- Graphics aren't bad for it's time
- Dingodile is a good guy this time around
What's Not-So-Good
- The story
- Not much fun without a multitap
What's Bad:
- The games aren't really that fun
- Dingodile's laugh
- Low replay value
In all, this game is entertaining maybe the first 2 or 3 times you play it but then it gets old really fast. It maybe due to my distaste of "Party games" and its lack of addicting gameplay.
