it's one of the greatest party games on PS1 ever..

User Rating: 10 | Crash Bash PS
It is somewhat similar to and often compared to the Mario Party series.

Gameplay takes the form of a 5-floored hub room, much like the platforming installments of the series. Each floor contains a different number of four-player minigames and a boss battle. Minigames can be played against the CPU or a human opponent. Winning the minigames earn the player Trophies, after which Gems, Crystals, and Relics are obtainable. When a certain amount of items are collected, a boss battle can be fought. If the boss is defeated, the next floor of the hub room is unlocked. The game is won when all four bosses in the game are defeated. Players can choose to play as either Crash, Coco, Tiny, Dingodile, Cortex, Brio, Kong, and newcomer Rilla Roo.

Each of the 28 mini-games can be fitted into seven different types, based on the goal of the game. Each type has four different levels. The first warp room introduces the first four types, considered the easiest by most. Each warp room introduces a new type so that in the fourth warp room at least one level in all seven types of games can be played. The fifth and final warp room contains levels which complete the four levels of each game type. In addition to normal play, one can play in tournament mode, competing in minigames of a certain type for some number of trophies.
