Solid, classic platformer

Oh the memories, the ps1 was my first console 10 years ago, and my first game was crash bandicoot. Me and my sister would play this game all the time, and always have a blast. I know it's criticized for being too 'linear' and such, but to me, sometimes its a good thing. It makes the game more challenging and thus a bit more entertaining (sure, theres the ARRGH moments too... but still) Anyway, the graphics are beautiful. The environments aren't nearly as large as Super Mario 64, but the graphics were certainly more impressive. The game play as fun, you go through around 30 levels, and for completion you can try to get all the gems which is pretty challenging especially in some levels. Sound is also good, some of the music can get stuck in my head even to this day.
But to sum it all up, seeing as I don't know what else to say about a game released over 11 years ago, it reminds me of mario games, donkey kong country, sonic, borrowing elements from them, but together it creates a very fun and solid game.
