A classic retro hit that will have you spinning across the room in an orange tornado. Enough said.

~Intro
In 1997, Naughty Dog brought to you a special gift. The much adored Crash Bandicoot, this vermin creature was always experimented on by the evil Dr. Cortex. Eventually, Cortex gave an ordinary bandicoot the ability to jump long distances, spin enemy's and to do belly flops. This however, made crash incredibly stupid and dull -witted. And thus, the creation of Crash Bandicoot.
~The Story
After narrowly escaping Dr Cortex's tower, crash lands on a beach below. He must work his way up the chain of the islands and defeat each of Neo Cortex's minnions. They are Ripper Roo, Koala Kong, Pinstripe and N.Brio.
Once he reaches Neo's blimp he can save his girlfriend; Tawna. You might say thats easy but playing the game is much harder.
~The Gameplay
The gameplay is varied but sticks to the point, press 'square' to spin, 'x' to jump and 'triangle' to check your inventory. The jumping of crash is not very responsive but the spinning is quick and powerful, other than making your way through loads of adventure levels, the boss fights are quite difficult.
For example, in one level you ride of wild pig through a natives village, this level is called 'Hog Wild'. The previous level compared to say, the boss fight against N.Brio is drasticly different. In the boss fight, N.Brio drinks a potion and becomes a hulking monstrocity while he breaks down pillars and attemps to squash you several times. When he is in normal form he hurls pink exploding potions at you. This level took me half an hour to complete. The difficulty variation is astounding. ~Conclusion
If this game where a human, it would be a seasoned war general that had the knowledge of every fighting style of mankind under his belt.
The word 'Absolution' was achieved through this game. Enough said.
