I bought Crash on PS2 before he sold his soul and jumped to every other console around, this game had to much expected.

This was one of the first games I got for my PS2 (number four I believe) and I am a big fan of platforming games but this just seemed lifeless from start to beginning. The levels are simply laid out and there are no real challenges. One of the most annoying features of this game is playing as Coco who is really weak and poor after you have played with Crash and his power-ups you will probably get stuck on these levels more than any other. The extra levels where you are not on foot but in some sort of transport can be fun or annoying depending on how difficult. In this game you play as Crash (and Coco for a minority) and have to battle the evil elements and Crunch (Crash's mirror image). Crash is easily controlled but when it comes to Coco and transport is frustrating because they will not always respond as well. The graphics are good but too rough round the edges to be considered great. The sounds are good but repetitive and overall common. You can play through this game once and then you can try to get all medallions, crystals and emeralds. This Crash game let me down, I was expecting an excellent piece of platforming action but got nothing more than average.
