the beginning of the crash bandicoot decline.

this game was relatively easy and very similar to its predecessors and too repetitive and rather limited. you have the same goals as in the other crash bandicoot games which is get to the end of the level and collect the crystals, again REPETITIVE! you would think that universal would create a better 3d platformer experience but instead they took the old route of the same exact crash bandicoot games of old and supplied nothing new to the series. i was anticipating a huge leap once it got over to the ps2 and new more polished 3D enviornments and more of a jak and daxter/mario64-like enviornments where there is a true storyline to the game and not just running thru random levels to get to the end which is very sega genesis-like. overall i expected more and was highly disapointed. the crash bandicoot decline started here with this game, after crash 3 warped, i expected sony and naughty dog to keep the relationship with crash, however they did not and decided to work on jak and daxter, which was a successful TRUE 3D platformer. but once WOC was released and i picked it up and played it i was let down severely and crash bandicoot has never been the same
